RIVER TUBING POSITIONS

Paid job training day. Season begins May 27

Tube Manager (AM) Must have clean driving record, confidence and experience in pulling a trailer.

This employee would be responsible for starting off each day. They need to pick up the loaded trailer from Elkhorn Shores and drive to the starting location, then help unload tubes and supplies.  Communication with our river staff is key.


Tube Manager (PM)

Afternoon driver will help load trailer and sort tubes at Elkhorn Shores and head to Dodge Street location and help sort and load river tubes there.  Extra trips back and forth may be necessary.  They will communicate with the river lead to ensure everything is sorted and loaded.  At the end of the shift, they will park the trailer at Elkhorn Shores. 


River Staff Lead (AM)

Our AM River Lead member is responsible for keeping track of our guest list. They will need to communicate with our check in staff, our trailer driver and bus driver to ensure guests are taken care of. They will help organize each groups tubes and ensure they have all supplies they need. Our river lead will help clean up at the end of the shift and make sure we didn't leave any trash or supplies. Strong communication and organizational skills necessary.


River Staff (AM)

Our river staff will be responsible for assembling tubes into the correct groups for our guests. They will hook all tubes together and ensure each one has a life jacket attached and all cooler tubes have a trash bag. They will help each group into the river and "launch" them for their float. Once everyone is on the river, Staff will need to pick up all supplies and trash and ensure we haven't left anything behind. This position requires an outgoing and customer driver personality.


Greeter

Our Greeter is the first staff member our guests will see. They must be friendly and outgoing. The greeter will sell merchandise check that each guest has a signed waiver. Once everyone has arrived for the bus, the greeter will go over the "rules" of the river and send the bus on its way to our starting point. They will then get ready for the next group to start arriving. We Will have 5 to 6 groups per day.


River Staff Lead (PM)

Our afternoon river lead is responsible to make sure everyone gets off the river safely. They will check off each group once they arrive. The lead will coordinate with the trailer driver to ensure there all tubes are collected, sorted, and loaded at the end of the day. They will help staff load tubes into the trailer. They will help with cleaning up at the end of the day.


River Staff (PM)

Our afternoon river staff will be helping all of our guests off the river. They will pull the tubes up the beach and over to the side to unhook everything and make sure all trash is taken care of. They will help load and sort the trailer. After all guests have gotten off the river, staff will need to ensure the beach and parking lot is picked up and no supplies are left out.

Duties Include:

  •  Picking up and transporting boards on trailer to a predetermined lake
  • Handling boards safely, attaching fins to boards, prepping all equipment and ability to inspect for any issues
  • Interacting with customers on and off the water
  • Assisting paddlers getting in and out of the water
  • Need to be Comfortable with getting on the water and taking photos of guests and able to encourage them with confidence.
  •  Upsell awesome swag and gear
  • Must be able to communicate clearly all customer expectations and safety guidelines

Mountain Biking Positions

Mountain Bike Guide Contractor

This term sheet provides the general information for individuals that will guide the Mountain Bike Tours through Elkhorn Outfitters Two LLC. A separate contract between Elkhorn Outfitters Two LLC and you will be prepared if you wish to apply for a position as a guide.


Guide Pay and Duties

  • Guides will pick up bikes from storage, arrive at Platte River with bikes for the number of guests 20 min early.
  • Each tour will take approximately 2 hours.
  • Guides will have up to 7 guests.
  • Guides must demonstrate to all guests how to ride the bikes, switch gears, go uphill/downhill, etc.
  • Guides are responsible for all bikes and guests during the tour.
  • Guides will clean bikes and return them to storage.
  • Guide contractors will get paid $100 for each tour.

How to determine time slots available:

  • Choose which times and dates that you plan to work.
  • You will be responsible for showing up on the dates you choose.
  • Once the time slots are determined we will open the website for booking based on the availability of guides.
